Freemax Series 3000 is compliant to the IEEE 802.16e- 2005 OFDM, it’s able to operate in TDD and H-FDD duplex mode.
Freemax Series 3000 by TELSA represents the low cost solution for residential and enterprise customers using WiMAX technology in NLOS urban/rural scenario.
The CPE is basically an Ethernet bridge/router and it works on IPoEth or VLAN Convergence Sublayer in order to support all class of Services (rtPS, nrtPS, BE, UGS) and their relative QoS classifi ers.
The scalable HW architecture of Freemax includes all network interfaces (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Pots), baseband, modem and RF processing.
Antennas are integrated inside the CPE’s case, in addition an external antenna can be used to enhance the link budget.
Freemax is designed to be installed by the end user, using a “self install interface” to enable optimum positioning which improves service availability. Freemax is the easy way to connect own PC/LAN/telephone through WiMAX Networks with high speed data, best VoIP quality and multimedia services with dedicated QoS.
Wi-Fi functionality provides full IEEE 802.11b/g connection to LAN in small area (like Hot zone) covered by WiMAX radio interface providing backhaul for Wi-Fi clients. It is a smart way to connect LAN after having positioned CPE in the best location that also permits to improve indoor service availability and reliability whilst increasing service speed. Voip functionality allows Voice connection via IP Network using SIP protocol through the internet or other packet switched networks.
Freemax has a built-in Web interface, which allows advanced confi guration by the end-user or even remote management (confi gurations, monitoring, faults check, alarms) by network operator.
